When you pray, insist in your asking; for Al-Awza'i said: "It was said that the best supplication is insistence with Allah and earnest pleading." The supplications of those who insist are evident in their adherence to them, their repetition, the presence of their hearts, their display of weakness and need before their Lord, and their renewal of hope in their fulfillment, even if their fulfillment is delayed.
